Accessibility Statement

South Shore Bathroom Remodeling Finder aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. How we build for accessibility, known limitations, and how to reach us.

Updated November 1, 2026

We want every South Shore homeowner to be able to use southshorebathroomremodeling.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What We Do

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, a skip link and a logical heading order on every page.
  • Full keyboard access with a visible focus indicator on links, buttons, menus and form fields.
  • Text and buttons that meet WCAG AA color contrast.
  • Labeled form fields, clear error messages that are announced to assistive technology, and an error summary you can jump from.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Pages that reflow on small screens and support zoom up to 400 percent.
  • Respect for your device’s reduced-motion setting: when it is on, background videos don’t play and scroll animations are turned off.

Known Limitations

  • Background videos. The short looping videos at the top of many pages are decorative and silent. They do not have an on-screen pause button. They stop playing when your device’s reduced-motion or data-saver setting is turned on, and they pause when you scroll past them. If the motion bothers you, turning on your device’s reduced-motion setting will show a still image instead.
  • Linked websites. Official sites we link to, such as state license lookups, are run by others and may not meet the same standard.
